Privacy Policy

What data we collect

GroupPilot collects the following data when the bot is active in your Telegram group:

• Group information: Group ID, title, type, member count, and group photo.
• Member information: User ID, first name, last name, username, and profile photo of users who send messages or join the group.
• Message metadata: Message counts, timestamps, and activity statistics. We do not store the content of regular messages.
• Spam log: When a message is flagged as spam, we store a truncated version (max 500 characters), the user ID, and the reason for deletion.
• Settings: Group configuration set by admins through the dashboard.

How we use your data

All collected data is used solely to provide GroupPilot's features: spam protection, welcome messages, analytics, moderation tools, and the admin dashboard. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data storage

Data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with Row Level Security enabled. Access is restricted to the bot's service role key. The database is hosted in the EU.

Data retention

Group data is deleted when the bot is removed from the group (cascade delete). Admins can reset statistics at any time through the dashboard. Spam logs and activity logs are retained indefinitely but can be cleared upon request.

Your rights

Group admins can:

• View all collected data through the dashboard
• Reset statistics and clear logs
• Remove the bot to trigger full data deletion

For data deletion requests, contact us via the bot or at the contact information on the main page.

Third-party services

• Telegram Bot API: Used to receive and send messages. Subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: Database hosting. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in groups where the bot is active.
